Arrangement:
These photographs were originally mounted within five scrapbooks but were removed because of preservation concerns. The prints have been numbered serially and remain in the original order in which they were arranged within the scrapbooks. Copy negatives of selected images are housed separately from the original and copy prints. The image descriptions have been adapted from the notes on the back of the prints. When known, the name of the photographer follows the title of the image. Duplicate images appear in the collection and have been noted within brackets. The breakdown of the scrapbooks is as follows: Scrapbook 1 includes images 1932/005-1 thru 20; Scrapbook 2 includes images 1932/005-21 thru 97; Scrapbook 3 includes images 1932/005-98 thru 120; Scrapbook 4 includes images 1932/005-121 thru 185; Scrapbook 5 includes images 1932/005-186 thru 218; Images 1932/005-219 and 220 were later additions.
