Scope and Content
Executive Office staff provided support services to Governor Rick Perry as he carried out his duties as governor. Records are subject files created and/or maintained by staff members who worked in the Executive Division of the Governor’s Office during the tenure of Rick Perry. The files contain correspondence, digital images, press releases, flyers and related records. Creators include staff members such as Madison Mauze (Executive Office project manager from January 2000 to July 2004), and non-staff members Paul Carrozza, founder of RunTex. Records are dated 2001-2004. The primary record forms are various awards lists, contact lists and invitations and topics include the Texas Round-up, physical fitness, the Texas Center in the Bon Sauveur Hospital in Caen, France and budget files. Electronic formats are word processing files (.doc), PDFs, graphic images (.gif and .jpeg.), PowerPoints and spreadsheets (.xls). Files in their original format are available on request, restrictions may apply.
