Scope and Content
This series reflect the legal actions and discussions had by Texas Office of Financial Accountability (OFA) staff in response to U.S. Representative Lloyd Doggett’s amendment to the EDUJobs Bill. Record types include correspondence, reports, memos, court briefs, clippings, legislative records, background information, transcripts, and talking points and date 2009-2011. Subjects reflected include the OFA’s reactions to the Doggett amendment, perspectives of state education agencies and associations on education funding, actions taken by the OFA to overturn the Doggett amendment and reports on how Texas spent funds prior to 2010.
