Title:
Letterpress book, outgoing correspondence, June 1868 to November 1868
Description:
Letterpress volume containing copies of outgoing correspondence by Governor Elisha Marshall Pease. Common topics within the correspondence are official appointments and removals, resolutions of the Constitutional Convention, violence and lawlessness in the state, the rights of freedmen, taxation, appropriations, elections, and matters relating to the State Penitentiary.
