Title: Publication materials

Description: National Association of State Archives and Records Administrators (NASARA) published standards and terminology guides, membership brochures, and ancillary publications that pertain to state government records and membership endeavors. Additionally, the National Historical Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC) provided grant funds to states to assess the condition of their historical records. Representatives of historical record programs presented their findings at the Georgia State Archives during the 1983 annual conference. The consultant reports that were presented were later published by NASARA in Documenting America which provided project guidelines, recommendations, needs, and plan remedies. Also included is NASARA's Crossroads publication, which documents NASARA and state activities between 1982-1984. NASARA Crossroads Vol. 7 #1-2 continues as NAGARA Crossroads Vol. 7 #3-4 during the association's transition period.
