Description: Black lace parasol, real thread lace, with a satin base lining and velvet tassels on top. Ivory handle, foldable. Handwritten on the original box: This is for Eleanor, 1928. And: For Julie H. Berry—Belonged to her great-great-grandmother Robinson who carried this parasol between 1860-1870.
Description: Historical Note: This parasol belonged to Sarah Maria Pease Robinson, sister of Governor Elisha Marshall Pease. She carried it between 1860 and 1870. She was married to Major General John C. Robinson, United States Army, of Binghamton, New York.
