Historical Note: Coin in memory of 114 Tornado victims, Waco, TX, May 11, 1953. Waco was hit by a tornado on May 11th, 1953, considered to be the deadliest in Texas since 1900. The tornado claimed 114 victims and is thought to have left at least 597 others injured.
