Collection:
Texas Governor Rick Perry Scheduling and Advance Office records
Creator:
Texas. Governor (2000-2015 : Perry)
Date range of creation:
2001 to 2015
Citation information:
(Identify the item), Governor's daily schedules, Texas Governor Rick Perry Scheduling and Advance Office records. Archives and Information Services Division, Texas State Library and Archives Commission.
Arrangement:
These records are arranged chronologically, as received from Governor Perry's office. The scanned and electronic governor's daily schedules are arranged in the "State Schedule" directory chronologically by year or group of years. The folder named Responsive schedules, 2001-2007 has PDF scans of schedules arranged chronologically. The rest of the folders, containing MS Word files, are arranged by year, with individual documents labeled srpMMDDYY.doc (or .docx); 2012-2015 are in four folders (one per year), but 2008-2011 are in one folder, so sorting by label will give 010108, 010109, 010110, etc., making finding the schedule for one day a bit tricky. (We recommend using the search bar, starting each search with srp (e.g., srp031210 for schedule Rick Perry, March 12, 2010). About 115 schedules begin with rp rather than srp.)
Access restrictions:
Because of the possibility that portions of these records fall under Public Information Act exceptions including, but not limited to, government employees or officials\' home telephone numbers, personal cellular telephone numbers, and personal pager numbers (Texas Government Code, Section 552.117), an archivist must review these records before they can be accessed for research. The records may be requested for research under the provisions of the Public Information Act (Texas Government Code, Chapter 552). Refer to the overall restriction statement for instructions on requesting access through the Texas Attorney General.
